New Mint Condition: Battery Compartment Protective Cover for the TA-312/PT or the TA-43/PT Signal Corps field telephones used in the Vietnam era. There have been many manufacturers of these metal encased field telephones, beginning with the Kellogge Corporation in the 1950s. The last iteration of these were manufactured by Star Dynamics Corporation initially manufaturing a metal encasement but then in the 1980s started manufacturing the Plastic or fiber glass-formed enclosure which this listed battery cover does not inclusively fit this TA-312A/PT:
